Now I am certain that I have found a group of nerds where I will be accepted as one of their own. Thank you.
Spotting details like that is a lot of fun! |

I have a bonus materials dvd that has a documentary on the making of the movies and did you know that the dress that Willie Scott (Cate Capshaw) wore in the beginning night club scene was a hand made dress that sported beads and sequins from the 20's and 30's?
The dvd also said that they were going to shoot that scene first but something happened so that they had to postpone the shooting of that scene until the end of filming. Well there is a scene in the film where she hangs the dress out to dry with other bits of clothing, and according to the account on the dvd, they had a problem when one of the elephants decided that it looked tasty and ate the whole back of the dress! lol So when they went to do the night club scene the dressmaker had to be called to the set and had to work furiously with her dwindling stockpile of period beads to repair the half eaten dress...
I'd hate to be the dressmaker in question... that must have taken a butt load of time to do. |
