A zombie horror film partly shot in Govan and Dumfries and Galloway has opened in cinemas in the U.K.
Amateur film makers Kieran Parker and Arabella Croft, who live in Glasgow, remortgaged their home to raise the money to make the film. Outpost is set in Eastern Europe,( although it was filmed in Scotland) and is about Nazi soldiers who come back from the dead. the movie has been snapped up by Sony Pictures for £1.2m and has already been released on DVD in the US. Mr Parker told the BBC Scotland news website he felt "nervous".
He added: "I've spent my whole career waiting for this moment. "This goes beyond our wildest ambitions for the film."
He paid tribute to the hard work and support from the crew who often worked for a half or a third of their usual fees.
Any one in the U.S seen it yet?
