Post subject: Today I Wore A Gown!

No, it has nothing to do with the weird thoughts constantly swirling around in my head. Today, I graduated from Purchase College's Class of 2008, Cum Laude!! I can't believe how these past four years have just flown by. It seems like only yesterday I was asking the board for some advice on starting my first year, and I appreciated every word!
We had a great ceremony, despite the fact that we were in a tent outside in the pouring rain! Jeffrey D Sachs, Dwayne Croft, Jeremy Gerard, and a hilarious Tony Kushner all came to offer their words of wisdom while earning their honorary degrees.
So now I have to get ready to make the transition into graduate school, but for now I got to enjoy a wonderful day with my family, including a surprise visit from my grandpa from Florida! It's been a long but very big day...pictures to come this week, I promise! |

The lipstick & tiara are for the Ph.D ceremony, littlestar; my wife thinks I should accessorize with a thong and a push-up bra...  |

Little secret: That fine looking envelope is empty! Its rightful content won't be mailed out until July, so they can take it back if they change their mind
