I bought me a motorcycle Friday!!!!!! It's the Honda Shadow Spirit C2 that I've been looking at. It's the red one with the flames on it. Here's the promo pic:
It's purty!!! And thanks to Uncle Bush, I am able to order some much needed accessories for it--windshield, sissy bar, engine guards. That crap is expensive!!! We've got so much overtime available, I'll be able to pay for everything with no problem.
On Saturday, I was forced in to work 4 hours early for the 2nd time in 13 days!!!! There are 21 of us on the shift, so it went through all those people that fast to get back around to me getting forced again. It's just crazy!!! Every day someone either gets forced in early or over 4 hrs!!! |

| Well, if it's a HONDA, it can't be THAT bad.... I guess? Be careful this time? |

I'm trying to be verrrrrry careful!!!! I rode it in to work this afternoon (worked some ot today and will tomorrow too). I only stalled it out 2 times!!!!!!! Believe me, that's a major accomplishment, since I stalled it out about 20 times trying to get it home from the dealership!!! Only stalled it out once on the way home--in the driveway no less!!! I thought I had it in first gear, but it was actually in second....
At least I'm taking my time trying to learn the ins and outs. Not like dummy next door. He got one last year without knowing anything about motorcycles at all. He still stalls his out. And he likes pulling out in front of oncoming traffic with his dummy friends!!!! Don't think I'll be riding with them again any time soon!! They're all accidents waiting to happen!!! Eeeesh!!! |

My husband and I own his and her Honda 175's trail bikes.
With matching red helmets and communicators.
Which is how I learned to ride.... on the trail. I have the scars to prove it.
(me, a bike, a mud puddle and a rasberry bush....) It's a long story with a bumpy ending.

OUCH! I bet that stung! I would own a bike myself except for the fact that after a couple of spills on gravel and a second degree burn off the exhaust from my grampa's old Indian motorcycle, I've kinda gotten gun shy from them, not to mention motion-sickness. Also a motorbike doesn't hold enough groceries and kids |

That would work just fine, Carl. Except I still have a problem with motion sickness! I can't even get on a tire swing at the park anymore without feeling whoopsy! |

Hey!!! I need that sidecar to throw the dogs in!!!!
Actually, I bought a sissy bar and luggage rack for the back. I'm thinking of putting Mollie on the passenger seat (she's bigger than Rocky), and Rocky on the luggage rack. I'll use bungee cords to seat-belt them to it!!!!
Seriously, I'm just hoping (with that spill I took last year) I'm set for accidents on 2 wheels. No more, thank you!!!! They say anybody that rides a motorcycle gets into 1 bad accident. Hopefully, that was it!!!!!
And yes, Morgram, girls ride bikes!!! And pigs do sing!!!! Haven't you ever watched the Muppet Show???? |

Didn't you know Miss Piggy was a hog riding Hells Porker?
"Moi Motorcycle," featuring the most Divine Swine riding high on her "hog"! This delightful Miss Piggy™ is an absolute Glamour Goddess, hitting the road atop her very own hot pink motorcycle! She's dressed in a black leather jacket, fringed chaps and purple gloves.

Whoa~ that is one nice looking bike. I'd love one myself if I wasn't prone to tripping over my own feet. |
