I like his writing style. He's clever and witty. I appreciate the fact that there are guys out there who don't focus on perfection. And it's sad to see so many women caught in the trap of trying to be perfect. But what makes me wonder is why this guy with the ability to appreciate women that the rest overlook is divorced? Sometimes it takes more than appreciation of someone's looks to make a relationship work. It takes the appreciation of the mind and the soul, the acceptance, the respect, and the commitment to make a relationship work for a lifetime. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder and this guy loves the plain Janes. That's great, but it just means that beautiful women aren't his type. It also makes him sound like an opportunist who's doing these average women a favor by giving them a whirl. Average women, me included at one time when I was single, are sometimes more vulnerable then our beautiful counterparts and therefore are more of a target. Thank goodness I'm no longer in the dating game!! What would have been impressive is that he married a barefoot Cinderella and they lived happily ever after. |

Kinda reads like something from a fetish edition of Penthouse Forum magazine.
"After juicing with plain Jane in Jersey, I boned up on bland Bertha in Berlin..."
The writer is sexualizing birds of a non-conformity feather.

Exactly what I thought. The guy just goes for ostriches instead of birds of paradise. *shaking head* That writing style is pretty funny and brutally honest. Lately I've been reading a lot of lady authors who have been writing the same way so this guy's style isn't all that foreign. Only his bagging of certain birds. |
