Good luck with the table cloth.... I saw a advertisement for the first series of the man from Uncle and they had a shot of Bill which is how I got clued in myself...

It's a bit chillin' here in Vermont as well...54° and wet. Rain predicted for the next few days. Oh well, at least we had two weeks of good weather. I'll be back later folks (daughter is working today, have to go and pick her up).

Cool over here, too. In the 60's with a north wind blowing. Sunny, though. I want the Butterfinger!  Already fixed pancakes and sausage this morning.  With fake syrup. The real stuff costs about $5 for 8oz.! You know what's really good? Strawberry pancakes with strawberry syrup! And I like crepes Suzette w/ whipped creme and honey!MMMMMM! |

Hope there's some left...I just ate some burnt pizza...before that I had a package of hot pork rinds, two packaged rice krispy treats, and a bag of peanut m&ms......I predict a heartattack or stroke for me in the near future...sigh.  |

Daintily sits down on the counter stool, looking around for the staff. Taps the bell several times gingerly because of not wanting to be too pushy. Clears throat and shouts : HELLOOOOOO! Anyone here?
Not hide nor hair of a soul in sight.
Looks at the glass domed pedestal holding several pieces of excellent looking New York cheese cake smothered in strawberries that Sam has made from scratch.
Gets off stool goes around the corner of the counter, lifts a plate and a fork, gets a teabag and a cup and fills the cup with hot water from the carafe', places two pieces of the cheesecake on plate, and proceeds to scarf them down and drink tea without burning roof of mouth. Still listening to the quiet. *sigh*...roots through junky purse and places a 10 spot on the counter with a note to keep the change. (I'm a heavy tipper)...gets off stool with one last glance at the kitchen, and sashays big butt out the door. |
