Looks like you're right on target. I remember it was on it's way up at the end of the business day on Friday. Looks good so far, up about 333.3333(ad infinitum) points.
But I'm thinking it'll continue the rollercoaster ride. I'm guessing it'll bottom-out at about 7800. Whoa! Just checked... up 403 points.
We're still spending way too much and our currency is losing more value. Socializing our banking system---NOT GOOD!! It's funny to listen to this guy on the radio talking about the Weimar Republic. Someone gave me a Weimar book in June for my birthday after I said we're looking more and more like pre-Nazi Germany. |

I'd definitely place blame on Bush, but there's plenty of it to go around. Both sides are to blame, IMO. But, Bush was at the helm and he wasn't very conservative financially or with other types of spending. Too much spending!! But turning it around will take time and it won't be painless. 2 things Yanks don't like. People want a quick and easy fix. Won't happen.
If Obama gets in, I'll predict the market to bottom out at 6799.8765.
If Palin makes it to V.P., I'll stick with the bottom of 7800.6900
The price per barrel of oil will increase to about $130.00 by the end of February. |
