Brian, thanks for the response! It was a good one because your views on what goes too far included both Bush and Barrack. And an accomplishment can be bills Barrack sponsored. I was looking for something more than just writing a bill, but technically speaking, it is something.

Phil Gramm really put his foot in his mouth for the McCain camp with the mental recession and whiners comment. Much worse than Jesse Jackson's comment. At least with Jesse's comment, you can have some fun with it. Here's a link-o-rama about Jesse's comment. I like the old guy on the left who is always so annoyed with things!

That is probably my biggest beef with the current administration ~ their environmental policy.

Is that what you might call an...inconvenient...truth? No, Cat, wait! Come back! Don't go! Hey, put down that rabid animal, I didn't mean it, I swear! Laughing

I saw both those comments. Phil Gramm's was a really shameful thing to say. I don't think a blame the victim attitude is a good policy choice for the McCain camp! Maybe he'd like to move to a country where people don't whine all the time! Razz Jesse Jackson's comment was just plain hilarious to see. Did you happen to catch Conan's spoof of it? They dubbed over Jackson with a series of rhymes where he described what else he would do to Obama down there...had me on the floor rolling! Laughing

I missed Conan last night, but thanks for the tip, Brian! I'll look for it on the net.

Did you hear about the sale of NY's Chrysler Building to the Abu Dhabi Investment Council? I wonder if it would be a good idea to ask each prez candidate what they think about that. Do Barrack and McCain think it's a good idea to sell US Landmarks and defense sensitive industries to foreign companies?

I think Jesse Jackson is jealous of O'Bama. Barrack is getting all the attention and Jesse's time in the limelight is about over.

What was all that business last year about NY ports being too accessable to foreign ships? That the foreign countries even being allowed to buy them or something? Seems like we're being sold off piece by piece until nothing will just be exclusively America's. Grazing land in Montana belongs to Japan, doesn't it?

See...that's why the NA's on the REZ are getting in an uproar...I tried to talk about this years ago...they want to make sure that the Land they were forced to move to doesn't get sold out from under them...even if the Govt already has all the rights to anything of value that might be found on it !!!

Why does it always take so long for these things to become mainstream News?

George Bush has been approached to write his memoirs and he thinks it’s a great idea, he is going to get on to it as soon as he finds out what Memoirs means..
