I hate to say it but I don't believe the government is for the people. Special interests groups have the power and influence of what goes on.
And I know that my opinion doesn't amount to a hill of beans (I'll have some of those for my 4th of July meal.) |

To quote "Rick"
it doesn't take much to see that the problems of three (read all ) little people don't amount to a hill of beans |

Fundamental things apply as time goes by. Beans and fireworks! Great combo! My hometown does that every year with the firemens bean suppers. Grass fires can start in more ways than one! |

Here's what I've pulled up for you. It's actually a shield.
The Oklahoma state flag honors more than 60 groups of Native Americans and their ancestors. The blue field comes from a flag carried by Choctaw soldiers during the civil war. The center shield is the battle shield of an Osage warrior. It is made of buffalo hide and decorated with eagle feathers. Two symbols of peace lie across the shield. One is the calumet, or peace pipe. The other is an olive branch. Crosses on the shield are Native American signs for stars, representing high ideals.
The five civilized tribes which typically represent Oklahoma are Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Muscogee (Creek) and Seminole. |

If you believe in change, vote for Barack Obama. If you believe change can happen then vote for Barack Obama. If you believe
change can change things, then vote for Barack Obama. If you believe things changing don't stay the same, then vote for
Barack Obama. Change in your pocket is what you will have left if you vote for Barack Obama. A vote for Barack Obama is a vote
for the future. If you believe the future is not here yet, then vote for Barack Obama. If you believe the future is not the past and
the past has already happened, then vote for Barack Obama. Since the past has already passed, the future needs to be
changed, and Barack Obama needs more than your change to do it, so vote for Barack Obama. In closing, since the future is yet
to come, and we need to change it so we don't repeat the past, vote for change now so in the future we can change things, vote
for Barack Obama.
We Have summed up the Substance of Barack Obama's Experience and Qualifications Here: |

Just listening to some of the local candidates is bad enough. I don't look forward to the nastiness once the two "top" candidates really start to campaign. I am really starting to think that my favorite candidate is.....
c) None of the above
Maybe I'll write my own name in. I'd make a good President. Excellent green candidate. Great ideas for animal rights. Great ideas on using men for stud purposes. Oh wait, maybe I shouldn't have admitted to that last one...... |

Here, again, is a candidate many of us could live with.

Exactly! Today TV Land, tomorrow the world! I'll probably die before I ever get to see City Gone Wild, Now We're in the Air, Just Another Blonde (locked in the UCLA vaults) or The American Venus. I'll probably end up being a ghost trying to salvage nitrate film. Anyone have a toupee I can borrow?? |
