I don't believe that! A couch potato? In the 70's, you were probably running the 440 yard dash at 47 seconds flat! You can't hate a whole decade! Something cool must've happened to you!

I thought the seventies were pretty cool, but I was just a young teenager with no worries except homework. Does anyone remember leg-warmers, or were they from the eighties?

In the 70's in PA, everyone was into Lord Sutch. Lord Sutch this, Lord Sutch that, Hands of Jack the Ripper, Lord Sutch and Heavy Friends.

It was a Lord Sutch world for many of us. I think that's why we were all happy to see the Austin Powers movies. He stole his look and his Union Jack car from Lord Sutch!

Well yes, after first being apolitical and actually rooting for Jimmy Carter in 1976 for no other reason than Ford was unpopular, I ultimately discovered conservatism and cast my first vote for Ronald Reagan in 1980.

Was also into listening to Jethro Tull, Moody Blues, Steely Dan to name a few. That was a cool era for songs.

Logic and reason will eventually lead all fundamentally rational human beings to conservatism except dorks (like the guy in the picture) who lack the intellectual courage to ever question their own hastily drawn conclusions.
