Bah!!!! That's wussy stuff!!! Come to Ohio where just last week we had 6 inches of the stuff!!!!
We're supposed to get freezing rain and snow tonight too. It's raining now. I'm going to have to go out and remove the "landmines" from the backyard before the snow hits. Makes for fewer nasty suprises over the weekend when the snow melts......  |

Just over the last hour we've had rain, freezing rain and now a thunderstorm and small hail....Now we need some sleet and we'll have had it all!

I woke up one morning in WI to 7" of snow in April!!
I woke up b/c my step dad threw a snow ball under my covers.
Folks always told me I would start to hate snow and winter as soon as I had to drive in it. But I still like it! I stay home (no driving), and still go out to play in it.
I also have a pretty fair dislike warm weather over 80 degrees. Yuck!  |

It's snowing here right now. They said we are only supposed to get 2 inches of the stuff. I'm thinking it's close to 3 right now!!! I went out with mom earlier. When I was coming home, it was splat flakes. You know, those really juicy snowflakes/rain thingys that hit the windshield and make a big splat!!
I'm refusing to shovel this time. It's supposed to be in the 40's tomorrow and Sunday, so Mom Nature can take it away. Besides, it's a heavy packing snow. I'm not putting any more gas into the snow blower either. That ran out of gas after last weeks' storm (6 inches at once). It's done for the season, unless we get another 6 inch storm--which I will wait on to shovel/snowblow anyway to see if it does indeed melt.
I love snow, but I'm kinda tired of it. Yeah!!! I said that!!! Me who loves snow!!!! I want to ride my scooter dang it!!!! |

We had a light dusting of snow and the car and parts of the grass had patches of it on them this morning when I took the garbage out.
I hope this ends soon as my strawberry plants are growing in the bag!!!!!

Yesterday 80 degrees...today will be in the 50s. Big temperature drop but at least we avoided the snow. We're supposed to get rain, maybe tomorrow. Now it's cold and overcast. And I was thinking of perfecting my tan today   |

| We're getting the snow too (not surprising since it has been known to snow in April here as well.) Oh well....time to get out the snowblower if needed. |

Snowing again!!! A chunk of it is moving in from the West according to my neighbor who just drove in.
We've got a slight dusting right now.
There's a weather advisory, we may get up to 2" or more (b/c of where we live) Woot! Maybe I'll get to break out the sled and the harness tomorrow and have the pup pull my son around in the toboggan! |

We have snow again tonight!!! (as mentioned in my other thread).
If it keeps up past midnight I'm going to take a picture and send it to our weathermen. They have really great senses of humor! |

We have a wind storm today!!! Rained off and on yesterday. I was kinda disappointed though. It has snowed the past 2 years on my birthday, but not this year!!! It was a little windy, sprinkly, and 59 degrees.
Today, very windy, looks like it's going to pour, and chilly (don't know what the temp is at this time--probably the 40's). |
