Well, it's that sad time of year again.
Time for all of those poor peeps that were not selected to be somebody's Easter treat to deal with the pain of rejection. The sad fact is that for some, the pain is too much to bear.
Sometimes, they lose themselves in meaningless relationships...
Or, they make silly prank calls...
Or, sometimes it becomes far more serious....
So, although I hate to bring such a serious subject up, we all need to deal with this issue....... peep suicides.
Next year, you can help. Help end the senseless destruction. It's simple. All you have to do is eat more peeps. Lots and lots of peeps. Or face the other alternatives.
note: This thread was brought to you by the poster, Cat. It was not brought to you by peeps, attempting to increase their sales. Do not believe what you may hear or see.

I think I'm getting all choked up *sniff sniff*.. on peeps....got some this year and thank God not the bunny ones. I feel guilty when I eat those. I start on the ears, eat their little faces off and then I've got this stump of a butt After a while they start to swell in your mouth and you've got this gob of goo that you don't know what to do with or you gag.....I'm not all that crazy about them because they're like a lethal weapon. Don't use a garote on that annoying neighbor...cram peeps down their throat! Well, don't really do that! It's a pleasant image though! |

Peeps ~ disgusting marshmallow treat..... or weapon of destruction!!!
Obituary:
John Smith of Oklahoma was found dead this morning. The cause of death was not immediately discovered by the coroner, although there were suspicious bits of red, yellow and blue marshmallow found around John's mouth. John leaves behind no living relatives, and one of his neighbors, Angel, was heard to say that John was not well liked. The funeral will be held Tuesday. Leftover Easter treats will be served. |

| I wonder how they would taste as Peep-somemores. Get some chocolate squares and graham crackers, squish the little peeps between the chocolate and crackers. Yum! |

Chocolate frosting works better the chocolate bars. It helps the whole thing stick together better. |

Our peeps are kept safely in their boxes until it's time to eat them. Peeps really aren't good about personal responsibility, as we have seen.
...plus they seem to breed prolifically! |

That's why it is important to spay and neuter your peeps.
Fortunately, the peeps do have one natural predator....

| You know, if this happens to Easter Peeps, I wonder what happens to all the ones they put out at Christmas time? The Snowmen, Christmas Trees, and Santa Peeps? |
