Ok I saw Bill on the Oprah show this morning and he came in with a cane and had mentioned he had hip replacement surgery...When did he have that done!!!!!
I am glad to see he is doing well if he did and I loved the interview...I wish I have a DVR to tape it!

| Any chance it could be posted on Shatner vision..?.For those of us,in other countries, that didn't get to see the show, ( and might not get to see it on TV ). |

I can probably zap it up on LiveVideo, if no one else does. Doesn't air here for another 4 hours, tho. Would kinda have to edit & cut it into 10 minutes segments to post it on LiveVideo, tho, but let's see what Paul comes up with in the mean-tme, aye? |

I am just glad he is ok and will pray for a continued recovery......THe only thing I can think of of this not being mentioned was maybe Bill didn't want to put up with the hassle from the press and the fans. Maybe he just wanted it kept mum to save himself from the stress....
Paul, got any info on what happened? Can you say anything about it?

During the interview with Oprah, Bill says he had hip replacement "less than four weeks ago."
Oprah asked about his kidney stone. After telling that story, Bill jokes about thoughts of selling his old hip bone.

Thank you for posting this TRexx.. I was going to re watch the show again tonight and hear what he had said again. So he did have surgery then this month and he is up and walking around very well! Way to go Bill and continued prayer for a speedy recovery!
Hopefully he will be able to be filming s hows and riding his horses soon.

Kinda surprised to see that the hip replacement story is true, but glad to see Bill up and around.  What I really want to know is those real strawberries? Because those are the biggest whoppin' strawberries I've ever seen! I wonder if I can grow some of those over here? They're fist sized! Bet those are fake plastic ones. |

Thanks for the links TRexx and those strawberries do look good! I can't eat them as I'm allergic to the sweet red fruits but those berries are a bout the size of the ones my Dad used to grow in our back yard. Me and the robins had many a fight over who was going to eat the berries first. I finally had to get some netting to keep them out.

My great grandmother on my husbands side has gone through a hip(or was it knees?) replacement and is on to her second!
Gotta love modern medicine! |

I can't put the Oprah interview up legally on ShatnerVision. I don't have their permission to do so. You guys are going to have to try to figure out a different way to share it. We certainly will talk about Bill's time on the show on an upcoming ShatnerVision.
The hip replacement surgery happened. It didn't happen at the time of the article said it did and the article is not factually true. He probably will talk more about about it the next time we meet and I think the horse riding question is an excellent question to ask (I just hope he does. )
I'm bummed because I didn't get a strawberry.  Gotta love those gifting suites. |

Thank you Paul for confirming Bill DID have surgery and that he looks like he is getting around well after only a few weeks after having it. He sounded like he was in good spirits and he had a smile on his face and so did Elizabeth.
LOved the kidney stone story and on the hip bone I agree with him...would of been in bad taste to sell another body part, plus it being the bone...no thanks!I would feel a bit errrrrr, creepy to own Bills hip bone!!!
I hope you get one or a whole bunch of those strawberries! They looked good and the price of them on the website was actually pretty fair. Maybe they sell them in smaller packages???

I loved his comment about "Juggling with all the balls..."
And then he made that facial expression, the one you make when your brain suddenly catches up to the extended context of the conversation (in this case Boston Legal) and what you just said. 
Now, if he sold his hip bone, what if someone cloned him? (just thought I'd throw that out there!)
