| There is a remake of THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL coming out this Xmas.....with, now get this.....Keanu Reeves as Klaatu! Need I say more? |

That's awesome news Morgy!
With any luck they will more closely follow "Farewell to the Master", the story that "The Day the Earth Stood Still" was based on. With some luck we'll end up with two classic and quite different takes on the story.
The original is excellent and it still will be no matter how the remake turns out. |

I don't think I've ever seen a remake as good as the original yet.
I'd rather see some new ideas. Surely they can come up with something worthwhile. Maybe? Maybe not?  |
