Got this in my email. Anyone hear of it, or have links to newspapers on it? Would like to get it submitted to Fark if true. I don't care about the vaccinations myself, as preventing communicable diseases, esp with babies in much of our population, is a good thing! But being forced to take chemo and surgery if you don't actually have cancer anymore?! WTF?
Littlestar, you may have more info on the natural remedy on this than the rest of us. I seem to recall you had knowledge in alt. health measures.

| *wonders how the child ended up with Melanoma - isn't that skin cancer caused by too much exposure to sun?* |

Melanoma is quite common in Orange County...many kids receive credit for school...for surfing....lots of activity on the Beach, everyday...most without protection...
Now, I am unfamiliar with this case...not even sure it is a true article as no reference to court, names, etc were listed...BUT...it happens all the time....
Another Example
Some may be "propagandizing"...even though it has a GOOD INTENT....
such as THIS
I watched Chemo kill most of my family...well there's only 2 of us left...and the ONLY reason I am still alive is I told Allopathic Doctors to Kiss my peachy skin and studied Alternative Methods and started treating Myself...until Health Practitioners caught up with medical progress and I could receive decent counsel from them.... |

well, there in lies the situation "without protection". The sun, is far more dangerous to us now, then it was, say... 30 years ago.
That is the message of "TNG: Inner Light"

As chemo is nothing close to a "cure" for cancer the idea of being forced to undergo it is absurd! Doubly so if you don't even have cancer anymore from your treatment.
If a child at 12yrs old is permitted by the state to chose which parent to live with. There really shouldn't be any crap about taking him away and forcing him with other people who will drug him.
As these are teenagers I would suggest, that as their parents aren't being allowed to protect them, that they protect their selves. Honestly, I think if I was in that position I would physically lash out at anyone attempting this crap.
You're right, it may be fabrication. I guess I'll wait and see if they send that later from court with the newspaper write-up and all that.
I've heard of CPS taking kids away for "failure to medicate"...
I hate it... |

It's not just children that they can force to take meds. They can also force meds upon adults if they are deemed to be "unable to make decisions on their own behalf".
I have chronic ITP (low platelets). I've had this problem for all my life, and know my limits, etc. I also have an excellent hemo, who knows the best way to treat, what meds work, what my safety limits are, etc. Several years ago, I went into the hemo's office late on Friday afternoon. I knew my counts were low, and I thought I should get them checked. They were at 6k (that's bad). My hemo couldn't be reached, and all the nurses that are familiar with my case were already gone. The hemo who was on call wanted me to be hospitalized, and receive emergency meds. I said no, give me a script for my usual med, and send me home. The nurse disappeared for several minutes, and when she came back, she told me that they had decided that "I was unable to make a wise medical decision". ie, time to call security, and have me forcibly committed to the hospital, and receive whatever meds they saw fit. Of course I dealt with it in the appropriate manner ~ I laughed. I told them before they did that, they needed to drag out all my records and see for themselves what had been done in the past. Anyway, I convinced them that I was basically mentally sound, and could determine my own best course of treatment, and they let me go ~ with the promise I would return the next day for lab work. I didn't go back in the next day......
Anway, I know for a fact that you can be forcibly committed and receive meds if they decide you can't make that decision for yourself, regardless of your age ...... |

That's why you have to have a Living Will and have someone you TRUST, who knows what you would want, to come and tell them NO! again...
To much Governmental Interference...This is a Democracy?
UH OH...did I start something ? |

That's a scary story, Cat. I'm glad you fought back. And on the other side of the coin there is the fact that I wanted my gramma to stay in the hospital to be cared for and they cut her loose to live out what little time she has left. There just isn't any middle ground is there? Oh well, she's happier at the nursing home than in that old hospital anyways. I sure know that I hated my week's vacation in that one last year |
