All I have to do is sit here choked up thinking of the children on those planes as they slammed into the WTC , Pentagon , and the one that went down in Pennsylvania . We can't let this tragedy happen again !
I don't want to see our loved ones in Iraq dying either but AL-QAEDA has to be stopped !! Look at this photo and REMEMBER that in that burning fire is so many innocent children now gone . AL-QAEDA must be stopped !

I still remember what I was doing when it happened. It's hard to believe it's been 6 years.

I still remember that day very well. I remember the horror, the anger, and the sadness. I don't think anyone has forgotten.

The frightening thing is not knowing if there will be another attack, and what will be hit.

Like the Murrah Building bombing, this event came as a total shock for me. Both times I was watching innocent tv shows like Sesame Street and Teletubbies with my children. And an hour afterward I turn the station and there's all this tragedy. Each of those days is burned into my memory forever. The Murrah bombing for the shock-wave that literally was felt all the way to my house and 9/11, the shock of seeing our country attacked with the use of our own planes as bombs. Now I heard on the Glenn Beck show that 16 school buses are missing in Houston, that Al-Quaeda had been practicing in old school buildings in their region and that there are a bunch of missing school bus radios in the Pacific NW. Think about it folks. What's the worst way to scare us, paralize us, and then get us to turn into animals and attack them in America like they've done us? They want a jihad. They want all the rest of the silent ones to get stirred up enough to exterminate us for good. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

I don't hate. I just don't trust anyone who's willing to attack because THEY HATE US. They opened the gates of war. We will be closing them or we will cease to exist. ImageImage

This is the news that was relayed. Since I have children who are in school this is alarming news to me. These next 10-20yrs aren't going to be all beer and Skittles you know. Confused Rolling Eyes Confused I could care less as to whom wears what as long as they don't try to do like what they did in that Russian middle school to our schools.

I saw that show and it was a scary thought that they may attack our schools and our kids, What cowards if they do! And if they do I hope we fry them into the ground.

I would rather that no one gets fried. But at the same time are we to just blithely go about our lives and believe no one wants harm to us? We must always be diligent. Always aware. It's like living in an area where drive-bys are prevalent. You can't be stupid and say that's just fire crackers or car backfire. Where there's smoke there's fire. After a year or two after 9/11 I was ready to settle down and think the best of everybody. Not be fearful, be more trusting in my fellow man. I was really willing. Really. But there have been too many reminders lately that the extremists haven't decided to settle down and think the best of everyone. They don't want to. They're ready for the next step in terror. We can't let our guard down. We have to watch our backs Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad I really don't want to be saying all of this. I'm a peace loving person. I have no hate nor prejudice in my heart for any man or woman on this earth except for the ones who feel that they must deliberately harm their fellow human being. Race, creed, color, or religion, all are the same with me, as long as it's all in love and unity. But unfortunately it's not. They drew the line in the sand and stepped beyond it. If anyone thinks I'm a war-monger, then you're far from the truth. My son just signed up at the recruitment booth at highschool today. Just sprung it on me from no where. I'm not thrilled. I'm apprehensive about it, yet it's his choice. And I'll worry about him constantly if he must go over seas. And he probably will if he doesn't flunk the enlistment stuff. But I'll always be proud of my boy for making a scary choice in a tough time like this. Crying or Very sad

Oh wow, Angel, that's a big decision for David. I sure wish him well no matter what.

It's a very scary thought that someone would attack our schools. But it would be foolish to ignore it. On September 10, 2001, very few people would have believed that someone would be willing to fly a plane filled with innocent people into an office building filled with innocent people. And yet.......

To completely ignore that there could be any threat to schools, is basically saying to our kids that we care more about appearing pc, then we do about whether they live or die. Personally, I care more about kids then I do about what other people think of me.

Hey Cat,
Yeah, it's pretty scary and I appreciate the well wishes, but if I'm understanding the situation by how he tells it he signed a card and they'll be calling to talk about him enlisting. He's still got another year of school so I'm sure he can't get in early without our consent. I want him to finish school. It's a really big decision to make. He says he's been thinking about it for the past couple of years because he wants to enter the meteorology courses in the Air Force. Of course this is his decision. He's got opportunities to change his mind and well, David is smart in some areas but not all. Who knows, he might not make the aptitude test. Chip off this old blockhead Wink Cool Oh, yeah..on the terrorism. I'm picking the kids over pc any day of the week. If I was so concerned over being pc I wouldn't be shooting my mouth off here every day Laughing Cool
