Hey guys!
Just wanted to tell you that I started school on Thursday, September 6th. I'm FINALLY a Senior! Who would of thought that it was possible?
The classes I'm taking are Gym, Math, Enviromental/Marine Science, Anthropology/Sociology, English, Spanish, and Journalism (which means that I get to write articles for the school newspaper! So excited! )
All of my teachers are really boring and I don't know how I'm going to get through this year! Much love!

I took journalism too. Easiest A ever, and never got one of my articles published. One was good, and the other editors were surprised that it didnt' get in. It was about the local water contamination that was making people sick. My editor was concerned that I used the word "diarrhea". I got to enjoy the other editors giving him crap for it.
I don't miss public school, too rigid with class structure and material (though I went to good schools). I miss the learning in college, but the red tape crap you have to go through with the tests and stuff, I probably won't go back officially, but I'll go back to pick up a few classes for fun at the community run one. |

| Looks like you are going to be busy. With classes like Enviromental/Marine Science and Anthropology/Sociology, you might be able to find interesting topics for your journalism class. That way you can use what you are learning in those classes and put it into useful articles that people may enjoy reading. |

Thanks guys!
To Cuz's 'easiest A ever' statement, I say, respectfully, that my Journalism teacher is a total witch.
Anthro should be easy, we just finished watching some of Indiana Jones: ROTLA yesterday (yes, the old one ) and my teacher is just like a kid who likes Rita's mango ice gelatis (too bad they aren't open all year - a gift card would make a good Xmas present!)
Much love!

Bummer!
My teacher was also the English teacher and so we had a couple of lessons regarding writing articles and stuff. But no test. You just had to turn in your article and it was up to your editor. Mine never published a word of what I wrote as I mentioned, but then I got full marks for turning it in as I would always work hard, so all was well.
We were also supposed to have a "second" job there. I chose the webteam b/c I like making webpages. But my "boss" (other student) figured it was just easier for him to update what little there was, and there wasn't hardly anything to do, and gave us the rest of the time off. Sweetness!
It was an easy class. Probably the only easy class I've really ever had. |

Once I got past the anxiety of college applications, senior year was my favorite! It's the only year I really feel any nostalgia for. Some of my best memories with my friends were in that time, so I hope you enjoy every minute of it! Meanwhile, here I am starting senior year of COLLEGE, which is a whole other mess |
