The House used in the movie, The Rocky Horror Picture Show as Franken furters house/Lab, is now the Oakley court hotel, where they have Rocky Horror themed parties and weddings.

In the 1960s it was used a lot by Hammer Studios in their famous Hammer Horror movies, also in the St Trinians movies .It was, abandoned and allowed to go into ruin in the 1970s, and the cast and crew, of Rocky Horror had to be very carefull filming there as in the upstairs there were no floors ( in the scene with Riff Raff in the window he had to stand on a ladder as there was no floor.) Also the owners had taken all the roof tiles off, so the place was quite often flooded, when it rained.
