A number of competitors from all over the world took part in the 2007 World Beard and Moustache Championships at Brighton in England on Saturday.According to the show's organiser, the aim of the competition was to "put a smile on people's faces".

We had a man come to our church one time who had been a part of a mustache growing contest. His mustache was curled around to where he looked like he was wearing glasses.
That bad thing is, I was sitting in the choir loft in front of the church, trying very hard not to laugh. Nearly bit my tongue off to keep from busting out laughing and I had to keep pinching myself into keeping a straight face as the mustached gentleman walked past the choir up to the altar for communion. |

Hey Captain! I thought you told wardrobe to fit us with outfits that would allow us to blend in with the crowd, not stand out like a group of wild-men! |
