According to a proud Canadian who just got back from a visit to the US, Bill's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been repaired...
"Kris, Greg and I walked every single inch of the Hollywood Walk of Fame one day. Only at the very end did we come across the star of William Shatner (I had become somewhat obsessed as the walk went along with finding it), which ironically enough was just outside the entrance to the parking lot where we had left the car. Alas, it was under repair, and in no condition to be photographed. A couple nights later, however, Kris and I went to see a film at the legendary Graumann's Chinese Theatre, and lo-and-behold Shatner's star, which is pretty much just outside the Theatre, had been fixed, and was in pristine condition. As a Canadian, a huge Star Trek fan, and a fellow shameless self-promoter and ham, I had to have my picture taken with Bill's star. So I did!"
