The star was paid for by Bill's fans. The previous Shatner club people organised it and held a Shatner weekend at the same time. A friend who attend both the ceremony and the weekend reported that the day after the ceremony, somone must have run a motorbike down the pavement (sidewalk!) and left a mark on Bill's star!!! 
People actually went out with face towels and wiped it clean !!

I was reading this thread early in the morning and someone posted that they wanted to know the location of the star and they were going out there to see it and see if it ever gets fixed
Well, for that person, since I can't find who it was the location of Bill's star is

I don't know but isn't he paying for a cracked faulty star? He'd go out there and steal someone else's, like Mickey Mouse's and chip up little pieces with his really funky space boots and insert them back in that's how mad he'd be
My suggestion: EMAIL HIM or PAUL please let him know? |
