Ok folks....
It seems that through circumstances our beloved "SHATNERS"
had to close doors....
Since it has been a refuge for a lot of folks for many MANY years I couldn't bare to leave all those stranded.
SOOOOO.........
IF YOU LIKE COME AND VISIT THE NEW AND REVISED....
"SHATNERS AND PIPPA'S CAFE"
Cant promisse to be here everyday, but the door is always open, de freezer is filled with food and drink.
The oven is always on and bread backing.
"Sausijzebroodjes" and "Krentenbollen and ofcourse "Amandelbroodjes" are standerd so......
GIVE IT A TRY
Have FUN and "BE GOOD TO EACH OTHER" |

SURE....I MISSED MY DOSE OF CHOCOLATE AND TINY MARSHMELLOW'S
BESIDES, I LOVED THIS PLACE EVEN THOUGH I COULDN'T VISIT AS MUCH AS I DID IN THE BEGINNING, LIFE TAKES OVER AT TIMES YOU KNOW
AND NO...I'M NOT BETTER AT IT,I'M NOT EVEN HERE HALF OF THE TIME, I JUST DIDN'T WANT TO LOOSE THE PLACE WHERE I ALWAYS HAD SO MUCH FUN....WHERE I COULD COME IN AND HAVE A SNACK OR A TALK ABOUT EVERYTHING AND NOTHING.
WHERE VITO STANK UP THE BATHROOM...WHERE DANNY SPREAD HIS PEACE AND LOVE FOR ALL....WHERE ANGEL TOLD US ABOUT HER FAMILY....WHERE YOU TREATED US WITH GOODIES ....WHERE CAPTJTK CAME TO GET HIS MORNING COFFE OR EVENING STEAK.....WHERE LOGAN WANTED HIS IV FILLED WITH COFFEE....WHERE SMB ALWAYS HAD A WISE WORD....WHERE LITTLESTAR BROUGHT IN FLOWERS AND WISDOM ....AND ALL THE OTHERS THAT CAME BY ONES IN A WHILE...I THINK YOU GET THE IDEA
YOU STILL HAVE A KEY....SO DOES ANGEL AND DANNY, SO LETS SEE WHAT WE CAN DO...IF IT STILL DOESN'T WORK, WE JUST FADE AWAY LIKE A BREEZE IN THE EVENING |

And I would prefer to be the co-hostess and not have the Cafe fade away. Besides, with all of us taking turns running the Cafe, we'll find something to say or whip up our delights with a frenzy as never seen before. |

Hey Pippa....always preheat the oven to the proper temp and don't leave it in too long. |

Thanks for starting the new thread. |
It takes more than one set of hands to run the Cafe so I thought I'd let go for a bit. Thank you Paul. |

Have a good evening/day everyone. I've got to get my rest.
CaptJTK, just to let you know I think I may have misplaced your avatar somewhere. I have to work during the day so hopefully I can find it later. |

So if this is officially a Dutch café, things could get a lot more interesting round here!! |

AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH! I've spent a lifetime successfully avoiding black pudding! I will have bacon, egg, fried bread and baked beans though please. With a cup of tea strong enough to stand your spoon up in it! |

Say, this quite a switch! Mary you did right by the cafe' and you did good. I'm sorry that things in life get so hectic. I certainly know how that goes. Hey Pippa! How's it going? Can I have some tea and toast from my favorite redhead? |

Morning Angel
Mary did a GREAT job but with a busy life sometimes you have to take a step back and let someone else do the work for a while
And girl...you can have ALL the tea in china if you like
For now i have some darjeeling with jasmin blossom as a starter and some golden toast with lemon butter |

I see the cafe is under new management! I went to bed last night thinking I'd have to get my coffee at Dunkin Donuts or something...
Thanks for mentioning me in the opening statements, now I will make it a point of stopping by every morning when I get here to work.
Mary, don't worry about the avatar thing if you can't find it, don't go crazy. I know you're busy. I can find another, but what size do they have to be? I can't find any reference in the FAQ.
Pippa, glad the cafe is back, I'll hold down the fort when I can if you're not here, and I'll have some of that great breakfast mentioned, minus the beans. Do you really eat beans with breakfast? (don't tell Vito )
And what the heck is black pudding?
Have a great day! |

The usual size for the avatars is 80 x 80 and no more than 6 kb. Besides the information you need is in your profile. |
