Nope..I was teasing. Just put up this thread for the heck of it. My son is sick, though We thought he had appendicitus. Not too sure, now, what he's got.
I heard y'all got a ton of rain. I'll pray that it dries up for y'all. |

Aren't we a bunch? I honestly think that we have the ability to become impromtu actors.
Give us an idea and watch us go with it.
Who would think it...... two pages on sneezing. |

To Sue Marie, Cat, Claudia, DianaG, and moi... It's fun. I've always liked to make goofy posts. And it helps that y'all are willing to indulge me. Y'all are great actors. |

You're very welcome. Thankyou for asking. He had every sign of having an appendicitus attack. We took him to the emergency room at almost midnight and the doctors thought he had it too. Until the ct scan and the white cell count looked normal. So anyhoo, I stayed the night at the hospital by his side and we were checked out this afternoon. He'll do a follow up with our family doctor tomorrow. He's still hurting and we've got pain killer for him and stuff for nausea. The surgeon at the hospital is hesitant to take his appendix out and for good reason. We'll just have to see what tomorrow brings. I have to tell ya the truth I'm pretty worried. I went through a hospital stay last year and now to see my baby go through stuff like that just about breaks my heart. |

Hope everything turns out normal!
Ugh, the cold is here too!
I've got the headache and runny gut. My husband and dad have the headcold/sinus part.
Anyone know how long this stuff lasts?!
It's my husbands last week on his contract, and my dad has vacation W-F, I'm already on "vacation"...actually I'm just off this week b/c my son's daycare is closed. |

Thankyou ladies for your well wishes and prayers. That really means a lot to me.
DianaG, your kids are a blessing in your need because you were the good example to them when they needed you.
Cuzsis, I'm sorry that you have real illness in your family now. I imagine if with plenty of liquids like orange juice, popcicles, etc. and tylenol y'all will be on the mend in a week or so. Get well.
Thankyou, Sue Marie. And I sure will tell you what happens tomorrow. I appreciate the prayers very much.
The funniest thing about the hospital stay was when he was given demoral(sp?). The things he was saying! Like "Mama you sure have beautiful eyes", and " John Kerry riding on a blue pony with splinters in his ass." Weird stuff. Except for my beautiful eyes He sounded like a stoned Alex P. Keaton. It was just horrible hearing his shouts and crying when they were putting in the cathater Lord willing that he's spared that pain from now on. |

| Thankyou, Claudia. It was horrible. He's a little better now. My husband has taken him to the doctor and I hope to know shortly what our physician says. Our son is 17. The funny thing lately is that most of the appendix cases over here have been adults who are in their late 40's to mid 50's. Strange. |

I got so distracted by my kids that I posted on the wrong thread.. Starting over...ok..My son had a virus and the pains today are residual of what he experienced on Sunday. He's going to be ok. Except for the fact that my daughter is making fun of his hollering over the catheter business. My little angels. |

Odd...
I had a catheter in when I was giving birth to my son. I can't remember if they put it in before or after the epidural.
I remember it certainly felt weird...but given the cramps I was having it didn't hurt.
Plus it was totally awesome not to have to get up to go to the bathroom in that state! I usually have to go every 3 hours or so.
Maybe it's different for boys... |
