For the past 2 days she's been sleeping all the time, just waking up for a few minutes a couple times a day. She's taking about 8 breaths a minute and her blood pressure is very low.
Yesterday she woke up when I was there and got out of bed. She came over and hugged me.
She's very weak and I'm not sure she's gonna come out of it this time. At least she's in no pain. |

At 8:55am this morning Jen passed away. No one could get ahold of me so I went to the hospital as usual around 5. There was someone else in the room and my heart dropped. The nurse that took care of Jen told me...she took such good care of her.
She said Jen had a really rough night. She was having a hard time breathing. From what I know right now (and I've only known for about 1 1/2 hr)...her husband, father and sister were there all night. Then her dad and husband left, so Shannon was there alone when Jen died.
She's going to be cremated and they;re having a memorial service for her. Jen didn;t want a big funeral and I guess now the family is arguing about it. Jen's favorite bar, Pelly's is opening the place for us after the memorial. Pelly's...we lived in that place. LOL Fun times.
For now I'm still in shock. And I'm going to do what any grieving person would do. I'm going to get stinking drunk. |

Oh Tina, I am so sorry at the loss of your friend!
Please please be care ful if you have to drink and have some one please drive you home. There are other ways of grieving besides getting drunk but if you must please be careful...We will keep you in our prayers for a long time and we care a bout you a lot....Your friend is no longer in pain and she is at peace now forever. At least you were there for her and were there to give her your support and I commend you for that!!!!
Maybe you were spared seeing her pass away so you will remember her as she was, fun loving and full of life.

OH TINA!!!!
No one on here will believe this, but I got the message this morning and started to post that I had a feeling of complete Peace, it woke me up as it started at about 5:45am. Then I didn't post it on the chance that it would possibly be the wrong thing to say or cause you distress.
She was smiling when I saw her and so grateful for the time, LOVE and effort that you gave to her..she said she will be there when you walk, but TAKE YOUR TIME...then she winked, waved and walked on....
Whether that brings you a smile or whether I have left myself open for ridicule...I HAD to tell you and I didn't have email....

Tina My love and condolences to you.
I know from seeing my own brother like this, he was so glad I was there.
I hugged him and had the chance to say Goodbye , as you did with your dear friend,
She will always walk with you in life.
