Yeah, I am back. I had a great time in Cambodia. Things have changed there beyond recognition, from when I first went there in 1998, when there was still conflict going on, and Phnom Penh was the most intimidating place I had ever visited. Cambodia and Phnom Penh are now a delight. The adventure of travel doesn't really exist there anymore.

I am so happy to see that things are improving for the people (slowly but surely). Having said that, I miss being able to clamber about Angkor with virtually no other tourists or travellers. Now, the place is swarming with tourists and bus groups.

Many tales to share, as well as some new photography.

I'm glad that you had a great time and at the same time I worry about the people who do travel into those regions. I'm glad to hear that the hot spots have cooled down and the peoples there are enjoying some peace. I wonder what is better being in dangerous situations or being part of the tourist groups? I hope that there's plenty of adventure for you. I will enjoy hearing your stories and seeing your pictures when you're ready Smile

Not sure about the Rockies but I can vouch for the burgers. Jess thinks I should avoid them, can't think why. Wink
In fact, I'm going to give this place a shameless plug. I dined here on more than one occasion; it's in the next town from Jess' family.

Harry, get some pictures posted (Cambodia, not burgers).

I'm sorry, but I find this thread very upsetting.

Sure you brought up our burgers, but did you mention our large chicken sandwiches???? Did you bring up our extra large shakes, gallon sized drinks, or servings of french fries that are large enough to choke a continent???? I think not. No, I think not.......... Sad
