Bruce Lee's iconic 1973 martial arts movie Enter the Dragon is to be remade for a new audience, Hollywood studio Warner Bros has announced. The film, renamed as Awaken the Dragon, will be about an FBI agent who investigates a Shaolin monk and underground kung fu fight clubs.
The remake will be written and directed by Kurt Sutter, who also produces the US hit police drama The Shield. Warner Bros has yet to reveal who will be cast in the lead role.

| What about "Invasion"? A remake of a remake? Although, I must admit I'm a bit tempted to see it. But, I thought the first remake of Body Snatchers with Donald Sutherland was pretty lame. |

That just means the the GREAT HOLLYWOOD is imploding on itself for lack of original ideas. They have been huddled in their cultural clique for too long and have not taken the opportunity to stick their noses out of their hidey holes long enough to see what is happening in the real world.
I think that is why so many young film makers are going independent. The Hollywood hotshots have become too political, stingy, and just plain vulgar for the most part.
OK, so much for my shoot-from-the-hip rant. |

| I think they are remaking Haloween also. I did not like the original, so I will not like this one either. It freeks me out. I can watch Freddie and Jason but not Michael Myers. |

The remake of Halloween is already done.
One thing I'll say about Rod Zombie, he's not afraid to use realistic looking people. He spent a ton of time trying to find one teenage girl who wasn't "your typical Hollywood hottie." And I hear he's nice to work with. |

| Well if it is anything like the remake of "The Fog", that came out a couple of years ago.I think i'll be failed to be impressed. I wonder what John Carpenter is thinking, letting his iconic movies be remade, into just another "teen movie". |

I hear a remake of "The Medusa Touch" is being planned. One of my favorite Richard Burton performances, in the 1977 version, he really goes for the part and is very believable. He is the man who " has a gift for disaster".
