Here are some pictures of Leonard and the little boy with whom Leonard was so impressed. His name was James by the way. It was one of the most memorable moments from the convention. Leonard was so taken with James that he offered to fly him and his whole family to the premiere of the new Star Trek movie next year.

| I believe that Leonard Nimoy is genuinely a very nice guy. I wonder if he had the idea of giving someone a paid trip to the premiere before he went out on stage, or if it was spontaneous. I got to meet Leonard briefly during a photo op. He was very gracious. He shook my hand and asked me what I did to my foot and how. After the photo, he shook my hand again and told me to take care. My husband was absolutely green with envy. He was in the photo with me and Leonard, but Leonard didn't speak to him or shake his hand. I guess that having a broken foot does have it's perks. |

So next time, your hubby may borrow your cast and crutches. |

Hey, TIEL, how about relating the story behind the offer......sounds like it would be worth learning about.
