As many of you know I went to the Las Vegas convention on Sunday.

Within 5 mins of getting into the convention center I bumped into Robert Bernardo. Eventually found Ruby Pearl (who didn't want to be interviewed yet AGAIN Crying or Very sad ), saw Jane and Sandy from the fan club, didn't ever find TeilaniKirk (red head on crutches...how hard would she be to spot?)and HHB was long gone by the time I got there.

I met up with Anthony who runs TrekMovie.com - we've emailed and spoken to each other and probably live within 10 miles of each other but it took a convention in LV to meet him. I got Anthony on video so you'll be seeing him on ShatnerVision along with Robert and several other fans I met during the con.

Bill was great - I think I was the only outlet (other than Creation) to be filming in the auditorium. We got both he and Leonard's stage appearances (Leonard solo, Bill solo and then the two of them together) so there will be lots of Shatnervision videos to come.

One of the coolest moments happened during Leonard's appearance. This 9 year old kid dressed in a blue TOS science officer's tunic asked Leonard a question and Leonard ended up inviting him and his family to the premiere of the movie.

I also bumped into Chase Masterson while there and it was fun to see her. I haven't seen her in ages.

All in all it was good time.

HA!! What rubypearl has to share can't be captured in a 30 second clip.
Besides, last I read, you weren't even going to be there. Maybe another time.....you gotta get a gal in the mood for these things, you know.

Bill S & Leonard onstage together was "magic." Loved it! The best moment for me was when the 2 of them touched hands ...AKA the scene when Spock died.....and Leonard said to Bill....."You have been & always shall be, my friend." OMG!!! THAT was special!

Looking forward to seeing those video clips.

Crying or Very sad I wish I could have gone... I was slaving over pizzas yesterday. Hopefully, they'll be at the next convention!

-Caitlin

PS: Maybe they should have one out in Detroit, that way Bill can redeem himself in D-town after that wrestling incident. Haha! Oh well, wishful thinking...

Trekmovie.com is a fantastic site for Trek news, Anthony is amazing how quickly he gets stuff up on there. I read his transcript of Bill and Leonard's appearance, and very funny. Hope J.J. Abrams can take a joke! Embarassed

Paul, somebody should have signed Bill and Leonard to a deal to video all these appearances, and make a DVD out of it, because those two are hilarious.

Well I do have all of this appearance on Video from the angle of the right corner of the stage. So look for it.

It sounds like it was worth it just to "run into" Chase Masterson. Razz
Have fun Paul.
