| That's...weird...was there that much glare or was it intended to be like that? Kirk still looks good though as always! Why is it RARE? |

| This is the transparency on glass from a 3d picture framed with back lighting . It was much more distorted and I did photoshop work on it . I have been a Trek fan for almost 30 years and never have I seen this image ! |

Oh, that explains a lot -- its on GLASS and if you take a picture some of the glare from the camera flash bounces off the surface -- that's why there are gold circles near Kirk's phaser, I'm guessing?
Your picture is really, really awesome! Where did you get it? If I found it in a thrift store or an antique store I would probably have fainted even though I don't know much about pictures or transparencies, I would've fainted because it was related to Star Trek, even though I do go to many antique auctions and flea markets
It looks rather like a 3D image now that I look closer at the background |
