1970's sci fi, series Blakes 7 is now on DVD. I remember watching it back in late 1978 on BBC.The effects and scenery were low budget, but there were some great characters.Anyone else remember this "classic"?.

| I've only seen a few episodes they had shown in the States years ago and loved it. Wish I could have caught more. |

There were a number of these series in the 1970s, one in particular i also remember was

Survivors is a 38 episode drama series with a cult following that first aired between 1975 and 1977. The opening episodes were first broadcast on BBC1 in April 1975 In essence, the series concerns the aftermath of a plague which had wiped out over 99% of the world's population and the experiences of a group of individuals in England as they grappled with the post-plague world and the trials of day-to-day survival. |
