Post subject: There's Money in gas.

British Gas has announced that it had made £533 million in the first six months of 2007 (its biggest profits this millennium).British Gas has cut prices twice this year. However, Centrica ( who own British Gas ) said more cuts were unlikely in 2007, as wholesale gas prices for the coming winter are high.
Centrica also said it would be cutting a further 300 jobs across the group, on top of 1,550 cuts already announced.
Seems odd to me that a company that is making such a big profit is actually cutting jobs

Less people being paid means more money for the people who ARE being paid.
That is an absolutely OBSCENE number and I think that those people should be ashamed of themselves for gouging consumers like that... I wonder how they sleep at night...
On silk linens with the finest feather pillows and solid gold bed frame of course.
