I just came back from the library a few minutes ago, and you’ll never believe what just happened to me! (You all expect for Bill Shatner to walk straight through the doors, right?) No. I was looking at the books for sale, which usually have two tables and two sides of a cart dedicated to them in a corner of my local library. My mom had gone off in search of another book, and I was looking at the table directly in front of me. One book, ‘Dances with Wolves: The Screenplay’ attracted my attention, but I looked at the cover briefly and placed it aside, looking at the next book. Something told me to look at the next book: and there it was, ‘I, Robot: The Illustrated Screenplay’ collaborated on by both Isaac Asimov and Harlan Ellison, the guy who created the screenplay for Star Trek’s most famous episode, ‘The City on the Edge of Forever’. Shocked I almost had a heart attack standing right there, my heart was beating so fast. Shocked And the coolest thing? It says ‘The City on the Edge of Forever [1996]’ near the front cover, which was one of my favorite episodes. Smile

I always looked at my brother’s Star Trek screenplay-script books, and saw the name Harlan Ellison, so when I saw this, I knew it had to be important. The crazy thing? I was thinking of Star Trek when I found it, and even when I wasn’t. So you never know what crazy coincidences can happen in a library. I’m convinced libraries play with your mind. Very Happy And I bought it for a freaking QUARTER! I mean, come ON now...a QUARTER?! Shocked

Best of love

BTW: I’m still having trouble entering ws.com’s main page and forums, if someone could get that checked?

That is cool. I didn't know that the illustrated screenplay to 'I Robot' was written by the same person who wrote the episode, 'City on the Edge of Forever'. That was one of my favorite Star Trek episodes. I also really enjoyed the movie 'I Robot'.

"It says ‘The City on the Edge of Forever [1996]’ " Question Question Did you mean 1966?

"The City on the Edge of Forever - Episode #28, first broadcast on April 6, 1967."
