Hello all:
I was intrigued to find out that legally this product (linked below) and others similar can be sold…or so far I can not find if its false. Snopes has nothing on it. What gets me if this is a scam of some sort since the price for the SAME product differs. For example:
http://www.newtvpc.com/ charges $24.77
http://www.satellitetvtopc.com/?hop=daddyk&tid=WEB charges 49.95
A similar product http://www.pctv.pacific-servers.com/faq.html charges $22.97
* G4 doesn't recommend it but then again, their statement is more speculation:
Watching TV on My PC
Bryan, Red Deer, AB
Q: I was wondering what you guys thought about streaming free television over the internet. I’m talking about the Satellite TV for PC 2007 Elite Edition. Is this legal? And should I pay the $49.95 price tag? And are there any more software apps. like it out there? Let me know what you think. Thank you.
"Check carefully to see what channels Satellite TV for PC 2007 Elite Edition offers. They may not be the channels you expect. Nearly all of it is free streaming content from International television. Don’t expect to see the Grey Cup on it. Or the NFL either! We do not recommend it."

3000 is far fetch If there are 10 good channels it would be worth it. All-in-all I read that international TV is Free hence, that’s what you really get?? |
