I am looking forward to getting the book when it comes out. Now there is the makings of a real ST movie. Plus, Bill would, no doubt, hand pick the actor to play the younger Kirk.
And, even if it doesn't make a movie, the books are great by themselves. |

| Next Monday's ShatnerVision has Bill talking about the book and then later in the month Bill talks a bit more about the inspiration behind the story in the book. |

| I can't wait to read the new book. Thanks for the update and the preview. Is the book going to be available in the Williamshatner.com store and when can we purchase it? |

| Thanks a million for this Bill, the Reeves-Stevens, and Paul! I can't wait to check this one out. It's fitting to have Bill craft the story of Kirk and Spock's first meeting. Is this going to be a two or three book series? I'm just waiting for the Captain's Glory paperback next month, and I'll finally be all caught up with his novels. |

Hi, guys.
I was looking at some of the first pages, and they are beautiful, but there is a bit of a discrepancy: Wasn't Kirk born in Riverside, Iowa, so why does it say he was in San Franciso? And I don't believe that Spock was born in the same town of San Franciso, because he was born on Vulcan, wasn't he? Unless I'm missing something...this book doesn't follow the actual history behind Star Trek, unless this is what Bill had intended. I'm not sure now.
Bill, I love you anyway if you're wrong! |

No, he's not saying they were born there . . . He's talking about their time in the Academy.
Man, oh man, it's been way too long since I've read a Shatner / Reeves-Stevens book . . . Can't wait for this one to come out. |

I agree, I can't wait until this comes out. I was wondering what the next great novel was going to be, now that I've finally finished the seventh Potter.
I've never been disappointed with Bill's work, and this one looks like another winner! Can we pre-order? |
