Post subject: Anyone else have a problem accessing this site today?

Littlestar wrote to me to say for some reason she can't get to the site.
I don't know if her issue has cleared up or not but wanted to check to see if it's an ISP problem or something else.

this started again 14 hours ago my time. and this morning i had to access the forum via the captains club using the forum link on the left dont ask me how but this worked:)

I started a thread earlier on this. The problem seems to be intermittant. Sometimes, I can get in and the next, I cannot.
As long as we aren't all being kicked out of Bill's basement and banned to the curb.  |

I must admit, that when it happens, I have a moment of panic and start going back over some of my last posts and wonder if I teed someone off.
But then, I suddenly get back in and breath a sigh of relief.
and then get a wif of Vito's office and back away again. |

Lol. I had posted something to littlestar in reply to one of the threads yesterday and I was hoping she wouldn't get ticked off and take it the way I intended it. She did. |

That's what it's showing for me whenever I shut my computer down and then re-start it and get back on the site.

Sorry I posted in the wrong thread. Thanks Daisy for posting it for me.

I'm having the guys check out the server for unusual activity. It may be that the ISP is having a problem or that the database is overtaxed on the server and it needs a reboot.
Whatever the case - we are on it and thanks to everyone who give me info on what to check for.

I'm still thinking it's an DNS issue, which I guess could very depending on what DNS peoples ISP or their computer is configured to use. But more than likely it's in the servers DNS. A overtax database would either just be slower than snot or CMS usually has a error saying the database server is down, please come back later.

http://208.109.234.171
seems to work right off, then going to
http://www.williamshatner.com
works fine after using the ip address |
