Try watching all of the movies in one sitting. Even if you do fall asleep, the story will be imprinted permantly on you subconscious...

I love the Lord of the Rings and would really like to see another movie centered around the novel, The Hobbit.
I must admit that when the movies were first run, I had a hard time following them... too many characters looked similar, too many battles being fought and so forth; however, when I was able to have the entire set to watch together, then the whole story unfolded and I understood it better.
I liked both Hong Kong movies... |

The Peter Jackson versions are a chore to get through now that I've seen each 3 or 4 times.
I remember seeing the cartoon version in a theatre when it came out, and since on video.
Drawing over live action improved parts of the movie, but overall the animation looks incredibly dated and shoddy today. |
