I watched footage from Comic-Con and I am equally excited for both Star Trek (11,) AND Indiana Jones 4.... Both films have come full circle for all the Indy and Trek fans out there. I sure hope they both don't screw the pooch.
Zachary Quinto WILL make a great young Spock! I'm also glad Nimoy will appear in his final Spock appearence as well.
Karen Allen in Indy 4 will liven it up quite a bit, just like the good ol' Raiders days...
I LOVED the Simpsons Movie, go and see it with your older kids!!!

I think it was a good choice to bring back Karen Allen. I look forward to seeing her in the movie
Also glad to hear that the Simpsons movie is good. I plan to see it in the next few weeks.  |

I watched the Simpsons non stop from its debut for about a dozen years, then rarely again. I saw the movie, and despite the entire plot and all the gags being rehashes for the 10th time, it was still very enjoyable. Wish they'd make one every year.
I am big on the Indy IV boards on www.theraider.net, the hands down best Indy website. Have been waiting for this movie for an eternity. I guarantee it will be fantastic!
Star Trek XI, if it has Shatner, to go along with Nimoy, I will be happy no matter what else they do in it. I'm not convinced it will pull the franchise from the abyss, because I personally am not sold on those writers. Their previous movies, The Island and Transformers, were great concepts, but the movies did not live up to the hype IMO. That could have been Michael Bay's fault entirely. MI:III I found to be horrendous, even worse than MI2. They did work on Hercules and Xena though, so that's a reprieve. |

Rush Hour 3 looks like a lot of fun, I will until after my Sweden trip, to watch it AND the new Redford-Cruise-Streep film coming out in early fall...
I took down my ST radio drama site for now until I get more support from other Trek fans/writers....
My Finnish project is in pre-production, taking lots of photos, interviewing my relatives, and learning what I can before the trip to Finland next year.
X-Files 2 the film is also in pre-production, it will be out after Indy 4.

I am looking forward to seeing the new Indy movie. That is good to hear that they are bringing back Karen Allen.
I can't wait to see the new Star Trek movie. I am anxious to see what they are going to come up with. I hope that Bill is in the movie in some way along with Nimoy. I didn't realize that the writers who are doing the new Star Trek had written The Island. I enjoyed that movie. It was a really cool premise. Maybe there is hope for a really cool action packed movie.
I can't wait to see Rush Hour 3. I hope it will be as funny as the other two movies. |
