Are the young folks in Hollywood soooooooo bored with their lives that they think it is some sort of game to see which one of them can spend time in the slammer?
Is this the new "in thing" to do? |

| I'd like to see how long they would last if they had to spend time in jail and really had to be with the other jail mates, and not like Hilton... be given a special private room. |

Parents of young stars don't have a grip on their kids, why? I don't know. Sometimes I feel like I'm slipping with my own. I don't give them all that they want only what they need and they still act like uncontrollable brats. My fault entirely. I've had some major go-arounds with my boy and if I don't nip it in the bud soon my girl is going to be just as willful. I just thank the good Lord that my boy isn't doing what most kids his age do, drink, drugs, etc. winding up in juvie. Hollywood isn't always the place to see kids crash and burn. Sometimes it's closer to home.  The only difference with the kids of this country and the ones in Hollywood is hype. Unless they make it on the evening news. |

Someone, correct me if I am wrong.
Didn't Britanny Spears and the Back Street Boys share a house somewhere in Florida with their manager? It seems like I heard that on the news one time (not tabloid). There was a feature on young performers and it seemed like that was mentioned.
If so, it answers a lot of questions about how these kids are growing up and practically raising themselves.
Personally, I don't know what Nicole's, Paris's, and the other kids upbringing were like, but they did have parents, or so it seems.
Of course, Hollywood, Nashville, and the other entertainment hot spots have always had problems with bigger than life stars on the screens and stages, having down in the dumps private lives.
I guess someone just turned the light on and we are seeing things more clearly.
This is not to say that there are not some well-grounded, performers with fantastically balanced private lives out there. We just rarely hear about them because to most tabloids, their lives seem boringly normal.
That is one of the reasons I enjoy Shatner Vision. We are being invited into a part of Bill's life that would ordinarily be off limits, but are doing it in such a way that Bill is in control of the situation and the folks producing the videos are very careful in how they present the videos (have you noticed that Bill and the producers go to great lengths not to show his grandchildren?.... I totally respect that.) |

What makes the famous any different from the rest of us? Judging by reaction here:
They think that they can get away with it cause they're famous. They don't have to take responsiblity for anything in their world.

You would think that the jails are only populated by celebs. They have their faults and have no responsibility to us to behave in a manner we deem acceptable. |

In some cases it's the parents who use the kids. Lindsey Lohan's mother has been seen using drugs WITH her daughter. Britney Spear's mother was her manager until she was 18.
Remember Gary Coleman and what his parents did to him? Now look what he has to do to get by. |

Sounds like the story of Lauren Chapin (Kathy or Kitten from the Father Knows Best TV series).
And then there was Jay North, Anissa Jones. and the list goes on.....
Sort of makes a person wonder if the entertainment business is worth it.
I think that I will start spending more time with my own folk guitar, native flute, and my old home grown music. (not worthy to be recorded, but gives me a chance to be something more than a mere observer). |

And this sort of thing never happens outside the world of celebrity? Aren't shows like Jerry Springer and our own version, Trisha, built on car-crash families? At least with celebrities we have the choice to vote with our wallets. Don't like the person? Don't buy their product. Simple. |
