Bit too well aged now Joe... but I did enjoy him in Galaxy Quest...
I also liked Alan Rickman in that movie as well.

Haven't got a clue as to plot, other than they are supposed to be at the Academy. Well, since Kirk was 16 when he first went, casting an older actor like MD was just ludicrous - the guy is in his 30's !!!
Even if it was some kind of zipping around time thing, then they have enough cgi techi's and film of the "Shatman" to pay the man himself to cover all of this. Plus, he doesn't have to take time from filming "BL"
Could it possibly be that he is suffering from being to identified with Denny to play Kirk again !!??!! That would be a real turnaround on type casting.
No "Shatman" no Hart !!
