| Could it be the ads on the right hand side of the screen? Reason I'm asking is that is the only difference between my screen in Firefox and the screen shot that was on the top of this thread. |

I've used PhotoBucket (and ImageShack) for years and have never had a problem with viruses from either site.
Whatever was playing havoc with WS.com today set off a bevy of virus alerts on my PC as well this morning. This is the second time that the same thing has happened in about as many weeks yes? It would appear that there's some deliberate targeting taking place ...which is bad news if you frequent this site and don't have 'your guard up' in terms of anti-virus/anti-spyware/anti-malware measures.
Bad for business that.
(...then again, I suppose that's probably the general aim of whoever is behind these attacks) |

| It makes you wonder who would have an axe to grind against Paul and this site. |

| As I said before, I am completely computer illiterate, but isn't it more likely that what is going on with the forum is purely accidental and not intentional. We all visit all types of websites and it stands to reason that we might pick up something accidentally. I was just wondering, aren't there safeguards for that to protect the forum? |

Yes I have been wondering about this
They would have to be very computer savvy to mess up a forum.
My Images are all from my own PC , exept the odd news item like the whales, and the tanker. I have used the same ISP for years now, and I have my own forum exactly like this one. never a problem.
