| I am not very computer literate, but when I went to the Photobucket web site about a week ago, it seemed to screw up my computer for a while. It was doing a lot of strange things. I wonder if posting pictures from sites like that could have caused a problem here? |

And maybe whoever is uploading pics from their home/business computers are not also uploading virus laden crap too into Photobucket. |

I have used photobuckets since 2005 and have never had a problem. I do pay for the extra services and have never had any alerts concerning viruses.
I use photobuckets to house photos for my website and have never had a problem with any virus warning on my website.
I do know that Photobuckets is experimenting with a new Beta version which I am not all that crazy about.
I have also gone through and taken out all unnecessary photos. The only ones I have now are what are needed for my website and some ST photos. |

(wincing) I have a free account and I have already notified them. I've asked them if terminating my account is the best option. I'd hate to think that this trouble stems from my usage of the photobucket account.  Wouldn't that be par for course? Me one of the biggest gripers of the trojan problems here and find out that "I'm" the cause of it all. I have about a dozen eggs on my face now  |

Well, my website is ad-free and my photobuckets is ad free, with the exception of the various photobuckets services they are trying to sell me.
I just went through and purged some other photos out, especially ones that are from online news articles and from other websites (even with permission).
I am not taking any chances as my computer is my bread and butter. |
