Well, okay, I know I wouldn't say anything more here....... but....... 
If the "issue" had just been between Gornie and Aquinas and me, it would have easily been worked out. I never did have any problems with Aquinas, and Gornie and I would have either just insulted each other till we got bored, or ran out of rude words, and then got over it.
But, I have one fatal flaw. Well, okay I have a heck of a lot of flaws, but one in particular. And that is that I stand up very strongly for others. I'll be "Boringly" honest here. I come from a very abusive background, and when I see someone getting hurt or bullied, I tend to become very protective and fight for them. Huge ass mistake on my part. Apparently many people didn't mind the bullying, although they certainly indicated otherwise. So, in the future, if someone on here gets attacked, bullied, insulted, etc., I'll just stay the hell out of it. Good lesson for me. |

I think the source of this problem was the lack of PM capabilities on this board, and I wouldn't be surprised to find that it's intentional.
I've seen several posts in this thread where people have mentioned how past conflicts had been smoothed over in a PM. Also, the post about a public slam deserves a public apology comes to mind, I agree with that statement but it doesn't sound like that was happening much. Without an alternate means of keeping the peace (PMs) I think a clash of the Titans was inevitable and maybe even on some level desired. |

Cat, honey, if you have that "bad" quality, then so do I. I protect those I care for. If that makes me a bad person, then so be it. I don't necessarily protect myself. I'm not too good at fighting off attackers and I'm not thinking that I'm worth it half the times, anyways. But I do what I do. I can't stand anyone being unjustly treated. No matter who it is. I had this picture saved if he had stayed. I was going to kill of his Kraken thread with it..only one way to kill off a Kraken..Look into my eyes..You are owned!  |

| I believe in some cases, it is possible to send emails. I have gotten some from folks over the years. I even got two from Gorny. |

I always found Gornman and Aquinas to be decent types. What they are like off this board only they know but on here I had no problem with them. Places like this need conflict otherwise they'd be sterile. Ok, some took it too far but Dave, Gornman, Aquinas and Mandy plus others whom I've forgotten were on the whole good for this board.
I'd like to see them all back and for the fighting to continue, but in as friendly a manner as possible.  |
