This place has meant alot to me, but when it's over, it's over....
It's just no longer fun for me...
Someone once said, we've lost our edge, I agree.....

Good riddance. Watching you self destruct the last few days has been tedious at best. You've become a bitter, angry person, and I only speak for myself here, but I'm damned sick of it.
If you didn't like the type of topics that were here, you could have started new ones. I started several political discussion topics several days ago ~ they didn't get locked, nothing bad happened. But you would rather sit and bitch because you didn't get your way every time. Guess what ~ it's not your forum. You're not the administrator. You're just another poster, and that gives you rights only equal to everyone else.
Go get yourself a gal you don't have to periodically re-inflate.  |

Not to steal any thunder here....and not to give the impression that I'm a follower.....but I was ready to leave this place days ago and I gave it one last shot.
I'm already in contact with the few people here I care enough to keep in contact with. And seeing how positively nasty you all are when one of the biggest, best contributors says he's going -- to hell with that. I guess I didn't really expect the Moral Majority here to want to consider or hear opposing viewpoints.
It's obvious that the direction has changed here. And maybe it's unreasonable to expect it to change back, rather than those few of us left who remember when it was fun and interesting just leaving. And since I can't seem to say much nice anymore here, why stay? It's not my style, and it's not worth it.
With Johnny Turbo leaving, now Gornman.....there's not much left worth sticking around for. I found a different place (completely unrelated) on the web months ago, and enjoy it and its diversity....plus, as many of you are so keen to launch as a supposed insult, I have a very wonderful offline life as well.
I wish you well. Don't bother bashing me on the way out. I'm not planning on lurking. I'm just moving on.
To those of you who I've gotten along well with, take care and enjoy. To those who don't like me, ahhh, no comment.

I'm sorry...I just don't get it....
Is it some form of polite gesture to inform everyone as to why one is leaving?
Was I the epitome of rude when I just left, without a word?
You either come here to interact or you go ...quietly...or so I always thought...otherwise it seems like one last gasp at someone begging to have their mind changed by someone elses' pleading....
Not that a Mind change would be a bad thing in many circumstances,
mind you... |

Mind change could be used to the good if one so chooses. |
