I was the one being upbeat about Star Trek Reboot.... BUT, the more info I am getting, the more concerned I am becoming. Check this out about the new Spock:

This guy looks CRAPAROO! What happened to the A-list big name rumours that circulated for months? I REALLY don't want to watch Kirk & Spock in their formative years. I want Trek set in the 60s timeline, plain and simple. As we say in Britain, "BOLLOCKS!!!"  |

| I gather you haven't seen the TV show Hero's - It was a popular new show here in the US last year - He was the Anti Hero - A really bad dude played nicely I might add, you really hated him. No doubt he can act. How old is he though? Has to be at least 30. |

My Friend in Hungary has said all along he would make a great Spock. I dont see it!
I also have said all along that JJ uses established , but not box office actors. It really should go straight to DVD, thats what it is shaping up to be:)
Or it could be a new series if JJ is involved,
I find all his TV series tiresome. they have no conclusion this stummble on and on and you know they will run out of ideas:)
They should have been Mini series then they would be great.

Yes - that is the bane of most TV - XFiles comes to mind.
It ticks me off to no-end to get sucked into a show only to realize they are making it up as they go along... That there is nothing to figure out, no master plan.... |

Interesting thread. I'm afraid I haven't seen Heroes, so I'm unfamiliar with this guy.
Certainly seems as though they are trying to keep everyone guessing on what actors will play the parts. |
