Huzzah!
I was checking his book tours for his new book (Things Heard While Talking to Myself) and he's coming out here on Sept 20!!! Woot! I am so there!!! 
Caitlin, want me to tell him you say "hi"? Maybe make the day a bit more surreal?  |

Check his website (google it!) and look at the tour schedule. It seems to be hitting most of the major cities!

Thats awesome! I met him back in 05. It was quite surreal for me, because he wanted to meet me! I knew more about that man and I was probably the youngest person there. Funny stuff! Then, when he headed to San Francisco the next day, my friend went to meet him, mentioned my name and another lady there knew who I was. Alan asked "Who isn't here because of Caitlin?" It was amazing. One of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

PS: I'll probably drive to Chicago to see him again, but this time stay to check out Chicago. Last time, I just drove, met him and left the next morning. |

Well, in all honesty. I would never have thought to check for him coming on tour out here, without you saying something. So perhaps I should mention that I am there because of you as well.
We should pass around a WSBBS token to get signed at the different venues. We'd have to mail it it pretty fast though!
Tina, is he coming to another city close by? I saw a lot of NY on there, course it depends on where in PA you are. My aunt is up near NY, but still in PA. |

I'm driving 4-5 hours to Chicago to see him. Its worth it, trust me.

Take Greyhound! DC's better if you're walking anyway. Streets there are horrible. Bad enough for a non-driving high school sophomore to notice! 
Or just go to Chicago and go with Caitlin.  |
