Well....... there are some rumors floating around, but I don't remember much, and I'm sure they were embellished somewhat....... |

Put it all in God's hands and let it all go. Don't trust in anything or anyone else to make it so. God helps those who help themselves and helping one's self is by trusting in God. Cat, one of these days I'll talk about the miracle I witnessed You'll probably think I've had one too many Becks!!! |

Angel, I, and I'm sure others, would love to hear it. We could all use a few more miracles. |

Angel, I, and I'm sure others, would love to hear it. We could all use a few more miracles. | Ok, Cat..You're going to think I'm nuttier than a fruitcake. My Sunday school teacher told me to tell my story and here it goes. When I was sick last year with the bloodclots, we just didn't have any ready cash to get me into the hospital right away. My folks didn't have any. I just didn't know what to do. I was in constant pain, always in gut-wrenching pain. Felt like I was in labor 24/7. For a month in a half there was nothing but pain and I lost 20lbs because I couldn't eat. The spleen and other organs were not working so good because the clots were in the portal vein. Still are, but as you know controllable now with the wharfarin. Well, anyhoo, I was crying and bawling and I was asking God what to do. I looked out my front room window and a huge cloud loomed out of the sky and it was a perfect heart shape. I thought that was weird, then I started moping and thinking that I'm just not any use to my family if I'm such a financial burden and thought about flinging myself from the watertower. I know that sounds overly dramatic, but hell, when you're a mess you think stupid things. God must have thought so too. He produced a cloud that I swear looked like a giant boot. Kick your ass for talking that way. By now my eyes are bugging out of my head! And the next thing I know I saw this giant eye. Like he's watching over me. I know that some of you are thinking that's a bunch of hogwash, but I swear by all I consider holy that's the truth. My mom says that she said that others may not always see something as another would but it's still needed at the time for the desperate one. I believe to this day that God spoke to me. She also teased me and said that whateve I'd been smoking, she wanted some too. |

I don't think that is nutty at all, Angel. I think that it is a lovely story, and I'm glad you shared it. I think God speaks to us all the time in all sorts of ways, we just don't always hear him. |
