Hollywood isn't interested in a "man's man", unless it is in the sexual sense.

Oh yeah. There`s an untapped market for inflatable Pee-Wee Herman`s out there.

Good story lines, they rely on special effects and gore and gotchas....

They've lost their dogfighting skills...

That's a great portrait. Kinda mirrors the blue one on this web site!

Hollywood is also in desperate need of real women. They need more Hepburns and less Albas.

Ageless wit, grit and beauty. That's Katherine Hepburn

Another good choice is a Lauren Bacall type. Beauty and toughness. Bogey definitely saw that in her.

Wouldn't it had been awesome to see a movie staring Shatner & Hepburn or Shatner & Bacall?

And what about the other Hepburn, Aubrey. We can't forget her!

I found this picture of Audrey Hepburn. There's many glamour shots of her, but this one is a nice pretty and natural look for her. She was a winsome little beauty.

Those were the days when women still had a bit of that American Pioneer Woman spirit about them.

They were not afraid to be true women with feelings and emotions. They were not afraid of dressing like women, cooking up a great meal, raising their children and showing their feminine side. At the same time, they were not afraid to roll up their sleeves, put on a pair of britches and getting down and dirty to get a needed job done, whether it be plowing a field, fixing a fence, or fighting off intruders. They could certainly do most any job that any man could do, but did it in a non-competitive way.

Some of today's women come across as jealous man-haters who seem to hate the fact that they were cursed by being born a woman. They fight and compete with men on every level and loose their womanhood in the struggle. Too bad, they cannot take a lesson from the women of the past and take pride in the fact that women are truly remarkable and special. Women can do anything a man can do plus they have the ability to give birth to a man.

OK, I will get off of my soap box now and go clean my house.

Note to Paul... the Firefox emoticons don't work. Cool

Here, here! May the women of the past be brought back into the present! We need these ladies again.
