Harry Potter has returned to the top of the North American film chart, with the wizard's fifth big-screen adventure making its debut at number one.
The Order of the Phoenix generated an estimated $77.4m (£38m) in three days, and has earned about $140m (£68.8m) since it opened last Wednesday.
It took more in five days than each of the first three Potter movies did in their opening weeks, Warner Bros said. Last week's chart-topper, Transformers, dropped to number two.

Wasn't the whole cast old enough to go out after the premiere, buy a bottle of whiskey, and toast their lost childhoods? |

We've seen it twice... 3rd time will be at the IMAX. The music fits the movie quite nicely. Out of all of the movies, the director David Yates really did a fine job of it.
The count down to book 7 is making me crazy... kids are all dying to read it before me.. HA! |

I think they were at most 17. If they have any sense they'll never have to work again or fret about money. I've loved all the books and at least liked all the movies - It would be sad to see these kids grow up with issues.
Anyway, I couldn't resist making another sterogram of that pic

Harry Potter fans are being urged to sign a petition set up by a book shop chain begging author JK Rowling to write further novels in the series.
The last book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, comes out on 21 July.
But Waterstone's is hoping to gather a million signatures for its Save Harry campaign to change the author's mind.
"We're not asking JK Rowling to start work on another novel tomorrow, we're just asking that she doesn't rule it out," said the chain's Wayne Winstone.
"The author has revealed that two characters will die in the forthcoming book, with speculation that one of them may be young wizard Harry himself. |

I wouldn't be surprised if Harry dies in the last book because it may be the only way to save his friends,Hogwarts and whoever. It's also a chance for J.K. Rowling to take a break. She did say it was bittersweet, but she's exhausted. |

| In "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix"... Voldemort and Harry have a big problem. One of them needs to die in order for the other to live. So which one is it gonna be. I can't imagine killing off Harry.. that would be way to obvious. I can't wait to read the 7th book...( I hope JK didn't kill him off! aaack! lol ) |

Ron: Rupert Grint — Date of Birth: 24 August, 1988 = 18 years 10.7 months
Harry: Daniel Radcliffe — Date of Birth: 23 July 1989 = Will be 18 in 6 days! Happy B-Day Danny, Doesn't that coincide with the book release?

Did you see his modelling photos or on Larry King? He's quite the mature young man. |

Ya - outside of the Potter movies he's trying to look all studly, older an stuff. It will be hard for all the little hotties that have grown up in love with him, not to go to his head...
I wish them all luck dealing with there success - they'll probably need it. |

Joe...
Well.. I haven't been paying attention to him outside the "Potter" movies.
So Chuck.. if they can do makeup to make him look younger... I am sure without the make up he looks different. |
