A few years back, I read something in the local paper
about my area being in a natural humming bird route
and it was the right time of year......so 
I went to WalMart and spent all of $5 to get the feeder
and hung it in my catawba tree.
The very next morning I had one buzzing about and
drinking the nectar(sugar water)....
So, I bought another and gave it to my g/f in SC. I put
it up next to her deck to see if lightening would strike twice...
Her mom was visiting her that next week and liked her morning
coffee on the deck wearing her bright yellow
bath robe.....
It was great, dive/buzz city....ran her a## back in the house....
Don't get me wrong, I liked the lady, that was just funny....
Me asking if they'd seen any hummingbirds, and them saying...
YES, they are on the attack.... |
