While hitting the piñata the following rhyme is commonly sung:

I cringe for the pinata. At least this one ~ I don't know if that is supposed to be a female sasquatch with a bad arm, or what. But I'm running after I hit this thing with a stick........  |

| Somewhere in my files, I've got the "correct" special spelling of pinata that introduced this offbeat topic to our board. For new Shatner members, it concerns a tilde (not to be confused with a dildo). I have to do a search for the special punctuation marks such as ~ (that's a tilde) and it can be annoying. What's neat about punctuation marks is that they can be a substitute for swear words. For example: $@!!!!#^%# or ^#~~~**!!!!@@!*** or &#@!!# |
